Our Song

There's a calm surrender to the rush of day
When the heat of the rolling world can be turned away
An enchanted moment, and it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior just to be with you
And can you feel the love tonight It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight How it's laid to rest
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds Believe the very best
There's a time for everyone if they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn
There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours

This was the last pic taken of us after the Elton John concert in 1999.

I've always loved that picture, you both look SO happy in it. You can tell just by looking how much you loved each other.

Drugs, hugs, who cares? All that matters is you both seemed very happy. Happiness is a fragile thing, as you well know. It can be here today and gone tomorrow. So grab onto whatever happiness you can. That way you will always have those memories you speak of.

Glad you have those "stinkin memories", Lilly. Would rather you had him in the here and now. But since you don't I'm glad you can look at the pictures (even the ones that remain only in your mind) and still smile!
