More good shots!!! Very artistic presentation, too, with the alternating between B&W and color. Looks like the depot says "Pomona-Greensboro" on it... Wonder if that means I can hop a freight line in Pomona here and make it there??? Keep Your Eyez Open!!! Love it!!!

yup, the station was closed last year, after they redid the original one in downtown. That is a cool place too. i'll go there next.. haha..
aye try it. haha.
yeah i saw that keep your eyez open and was like oh shiiit!! haha.. i wanted to get on the tracks themselves so bad, but they do have working trains still there and there was this norfolk southern rail road COP car parked in the parking lot! didn't see the cop anywhere, just that black cat. Maybe he was the cop? who knows. my youngest son waited patiently in the car for me to get these shots.. i didn't want him traumatized by his momma gettin run over by a train.. ha! Yeah, thats her.. thats her nikon that I won't be inheriting now. LOL!
thanks for the props ...

Interesting to hear of the context of these pictures. After I commented on 'em this morning, I did a search on markings on freight rail cars for the riding of the rods, and the site that I found had the most info (and not really a whole lot, at that) said that the main danger you had to watch our for besides getting squished by a train was the "yard bulls", the railroad cop!!!
