I got a phone call today from a man who sounded like Mr. Mackey!
It was all I could do to keep my composure and sound professional!!
The interview is set for Friday morning. I will let you know how it goes, MMM'Kay?

Happy Birthday T

28 years ago I did the first best thing I ever did in my life. I brought a baby boy into this world. He weighed 7lbs 10 oz and was 21 inches long. I realized the true meaning of love that day, at the age 18.
Now 28 years and alot of memories, trials and tribulations later, I am still amazed when I look at him that he really came from me. So intelligent and handsome. I am extremely proud of him. I often wonder, especially lately, where the time has gone.
He is my heart.

Me N The Shroom

Sometimes I gotta get down and dirty to get my shot. This is a perfect example of me doing that. Like the pink bandana? It was only hotter than 40 hells that day so I thought I needed to take it along. Sure, its sort of a fashion statement, I have been known to wear these out in public in the past. Between the 90 degree heat that day, the hiking, and the HOTFLASHES, I'm damn glad I had that purdy pank bandana! I could care less how it looked! I was just doin' my thang and getting my shot! I got my shot too!!!

My Buddy

This is my buddy. He has always accepted me unconditionally. We talk everyday and he never hangs up on me. He comes to me when I need him, and sometimes when he just THINKS I do, without me even asking. He lives kinda far away, but he doesn't mind about the cost of gas, or hitting the road at the drop of a hat. He doesn't put pricetags on being my friend.

He listens to the sorted details of my fucked up life, and he always responds positively and with a sense of humor. He is encouraging, and kind. Never judgemental, and always respectful of my fragile heart. He makes me laugh and feel happy. He is really not that much different from any of my other friends, I just wanted to write about HIM today.

He reminds me to never accept 2nd best and that I don't deserve anything but the best. He reminds me that if it isn't positive or makes me happpy 100% of the time, to keep it out of my life. He is also very funny, and as you can see by this photo he thinks that I am very funny too.

I am thankful that he is in my world.

My nephew told me about this building with this mural on it so I went and shot it. It's pretty darn good painting actually and we're big mountain dew drinkers!

The Biltmore Hotel

The Biltmore is a historic hotel that was built in 1895. Located in the heart of downtown Greensboro, NC. The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel is a European Boutique Hotel that offers rooms with king-four poster canopy beds, queen four-poster beds and hardwood floors. Every room is charming and elegant.
